Privacy
The short version
- No accounts and no sign-in.
- Your EQ results, journal entries, and challenge progress are stored only in your browser’s local storage on this device.
- We do not run a server database of your answers.
- You can export, import, or delete your data at any time.
What is stored, and where
- EQ check results: per-area scores, overall score, and date. Your individual answers are not kept after scoring.
- Journal entries: what you type, plus your mood, feelings, and trigger choices.
- Challenge progress: the area you chose, your start date, and which days you checked off.
- Newsletter: if you join, your email (and first name if given) goes to our newsletter provider, Buttondown, which sends the weekly notes. You can unsubscribe from any email.
- Coach application form (preview): currently saved only in your browser.
Analytics and cookies
This prototype uses no analytics, ad trackers, or third-party cookies. If privacy-friendly analytics are added later, this page will be updated first.
Outbound links
Links to Amazon, Bookshop.org, Open Library, apps, and podcasts take you to sites with their own privacy policies. Some links may become affiliate links, which means EQPulse could earn a commission at no extra cost to you. They will be labeled.
Clearing your data
Use the delete button on the data page, or clear site data in your browser settings. Clearing it removes your history permanently unless you exported a backup.
